Okay, my first charger wouldn’t charge at all. I plugged/unplugged the adapter, I even tried to see if the wire works only at a certain angle. Nothing. I went and borrowed a psp charger from a friend, and for a while it started charging again. But now, the problem repeats itself once again.. It’s not charging. I tried switching adapters between both chargers and still it wouldn’t charge. I even tried taking out the battery, checking it, then putting it back again. Nothing.

This is the first time I’ve encountered charging problems. I wonder, I sometimes play while my psp is charging. Is that a bad thing? Though, my psp is old, and I’ve been doing that for quite a while.

If it helps, I noticed that one of the adapters from one charger set heats up even though my psp is charging. Also, both chargers are old, so I’m hoping the problem is from the chargers and not my psp/psp battery. Still, I would like to make sure before I decide on anything. I apologize if this post is long.

Yesterday I accidently downloaded the newer version onto my PSP. The version I have on my PSP now is version 6.37.

I’ve seen and read that you need a pandora battery and a magic memory stick to get it back to its original version so I can continue to play downloadable games. Is there any other way I can downgrade it without buying a pandora battery.

i put in the battery and it auto starts but then it turns off… is this bad?

I want to learn how to hack my psp without a pandora battery. My friend told me it is impossible but i don’t know if he is right. Also if it is possible can someone assist me to get my psp hacked. Also i need help downgrading, if possible, from 6.20.

It’s all in the title folks. I don’t want to buy pandora battery and magic memory stick. i know there is a way but it’s just so hard to find. and i don’t want to spend 700 pesos on unlocking it. I live in the philippines btw. if you could give me a step by step process and the download link of the stuff i need to put in my psp, that would be great. thanks!

I only have a memory stick and pretty much nothing else. My firmware is 5.50 and no pandora battery. I want to play games like GTA on it also some GBA games.

My psp will only turn on when I’ve connected the plug, I’ve tried TWO DIFFERENT battery’s and both don’t show up. When I click battery information it says nothing, but external. If I put the battery in the light will turn red and the battery will show up at the top right for 2 seconds, then dissapear for 2 seconds ETC. Please help, since it’s not really a playstation PORTABLE if I can’t take it anywhere. Any ideas?
I have said that I’ve tried 2 batteries! This happened last time I asked!
AND plus how can I let it drain if I can’t turn it on without a battery in?
