Lost my MicroSD Card Reader for the Nintendo ds r4 card…now what?

So here’s the deal: I have an R4 card for the DS. For some reason, I’ve totally misplaced my card reader, meaning I can’t put any new games on it until I get another one.

Is it alright to borrow someone else’s card reader? My boyfriend has one, but I’m afraid that if I use it, my games will get erased or his games will get erased or something.

Also, if I buy a new one and use it with my R4 card, will my games be erased from that?

In other words…am I screwed because I lost the MicroSD card reader?
Dr. D: I’m sorry, I don’t really understand. So you lost your MicroSD card reader and used a new one? And it was OK?
